Oud

Originating from the Middle East and derived from agarwood - a dark, resinous wood - oud is one of the globe’s most expensive raw materials, and is valued accordingly by perfumers across Kuwait and worldwide. Easily identifiable, an oud perfume or home fragrance is earthy, woody, somewhat smoky, and with tones of musk and incense. One of the most sensuous and exotic notes in perfumes, the allure of oud is both luxurious and hypnotic.
