Michelangelo 100ml
- fruity
- woody
Michelangelo is a shared / unisex perfume by Onyrico. The scent was launched in 2015 and the fragrance was created by perfumer Maurizio Cerizza
Fruity, woody Just saying his name is possible to sum up the grandness of the Italian Renaissance.
Sculptor, painter, architect, poet, Michelangelo Buonarroti has realized works among the most admired in the world: the David, the Pietà, the Sistine Chapel’s frescoes. Simply carries his name, the fragrance we wanted to dedicate to his genius and his versatile talent.
Michelangelo is an eclectic and essential fragrance that follows the Artist’s thought “takes away the superfluous” to enhance the intrinsic peculiarities of each component. With its enveloping chiaroscuro, the fragrance speaks about the art and nature of his birthplace, but also about a seductive temptation.
The heart of this fresh and fruity fragrance, which turns spicy in the end, is a strong hint of fig, which reminds the extraordinary variety of species that can be found in the hills around Arezzo and recalls the famous scene of the original sin represented in the Sistine Chapel. Introduced by sparkling notes of bergamot and grapefruit, enhanced by wild cassis, the dominant note of this composition is emphasized by an aromatic woody marigold and sweet magnolia, softened by an inebriating and sensual hyacinth.
Intense vetiver, spicy patchouli, cistus labdanum resin and incense notes seal the bottom, paying tribute to the everlasting value of Michelangelo’s works.
The marble used for the cap is the pearly white, pure, Statuario marble that comes from the quarries of Tuscany. It’s the same marble the master used for his sculptures.
